What we do

Club rides

We operate weekly club rides out into Essex, Hertfordshire and sometimes beyond on Sundays almost every week (unless it’s Christmas Day or the weather is truly apocalyptic).

Please read the club ride FAQs

9:00am: Depart from Walthamstow Town Hall
9:30am: Second pick up from the tea hut at High Beach

Group A:
19 mph to >20 mph chaingang
Group B:  17 mph to 18.5 mph
Group C:  15-16mph and a no-drop policy
Social: A gentler pace (maybe 13-14mph), no-drop – doesn’t always follow the same route as A/B/C groups.

To join any of our rides, you must sign up via:RIderHQ

Women's Cycling

We understand that it can be daunting coming into a male-dominated arena so we have created the position of and elected our first Women’s Secretary Jemma Taylor to be a point of contact and assist with any queries.

We run an open monthly women’s ride which caters for those new to the sport; all we ask is that you have a bike suitable for road riding and a reasonable degree of fitness to get you round 35-40 miles. The speed will be determined by the slowest rider and no one is left behind. There is a café stop towards the end of the ride.

If you'd like to join us for a ride please get in touch!
